Welcome to Le Moulin
Martina and Jean Goire gladly receive you to enjoy an unforgettable moment in a hundred-year-old establishment, the perpetration of a family passion for devotion and respect in Ligneuville (Malmedy), at the foot of the High Fens.
The Hôtel du Moulin is the combination of peaceful tradition and the beauty of the different seasons in the heart of the Blue Ardennes. Our historical building boasts contemporary comfort, while the surrounding areas are an invitation to endless hikes, surrounded by pine trees, the soft sounds of streams and whistling birds.
The undisputable charms of the hotel have allowed us to obtain a superb mark of 13/20 from the famous guide Gault & Millau. We are also the only « Table Distinguée » in Belgium, thanks to the « Logis ».

Jean Goire welcomes you to his table as a true expert in culinary pleasure. This Chef draws inspiration from the richness of the regional terroir, in order to offer you the most delightful dishes.
The art of accommodation reaches its peak at the Hôtel du Moulin, through dishes prepared with fresh biological ingredients, issued from short food circuits or from Jean Goire’s own vegetable garden. Local producers are in direct contact with the restaurant, and offer top-quality products that are never uselessly transported or altered.
The Restaurant advocates a traditional fine cuisine, while striking a delicate balance between audacity and class, as well as being fulfilling and light. Gourmets are guaranteed to enjoy courses that meet their highest expectations.
The « Logis » have granted the Hôtel du Moulin the single award for « Table Distinguée » in Belgium, and the famous Gault & Millau has awarded the restaurant an excellent mark of 13/20.
